About Fred's Auto Body Repair
Fred’s Auto Body Repair is a trusted destination for drivers who want careful, dependable vehicle repair backed by practical experience and a customer focused approach. In a field where quality workmanship and clear communication matter as much as technical skill, the business stands out by offering a full range of services designed to help restore vehicles after everyday wear, minor damage, or major collision events. For customers dealing with dents, scratches, bent panels, paint damage, or structural concerns, it provides the kind of comprehensive support that can make a stressful repair situation feel much more manageable.
What makes an auto body shop valuable is not only the ability to fix visible damage, but also the capacity to return a vehicle to safe, reliable, and attractive condition. Fred’s Auto Body Repair serves that role by combining body repair knowledge with mechanical capability, allowing it to address both appearance and function. That broader skill set is important because many vehicles involved in collisions or other incidents need more than cosmetic work. A shop that can handle body restoration alongside mechanical needs gives customers a more efficient and convenient experience, especially when a car requires multiple types of attention at once.
Another important part of the business is the convenience it offers. Onsite service helps make the repair process more accessible for customers who want direct support without unnecessary complications. The availability of amenities such as a restroom and flexible payment options also reflects a practical understanding of what customers value during a repair visit. These details may seem small, but they contribute to a smoother overall experience, especially when someone is already managing the inconvenience of vehicle damage or routine maintenance.
Fred’s Auto Body Repair also appeals to customers who prefer a business that can support a range of automotive needs rather than a narrow specialty. The inclusion of oil change services and mechanical work broadens its usefulness beyond collision repair alone. That versatility can be especially helpful for customers who want to address multiple vehicle concerns through one provider instead of coordinating separate appointments at different shops. For many drivers, convenience and consistency are just as important as the repair itself.
The business environment around auto body repair often requires trust, since customers are handing over a valuable asset and expecting professional results. A shop like Fred’s Auto Body Repair benefits from showing that it can handle repairs responsibly and communicate in a straightforward way. Customers typically look for signs that a shop is organized, capable, and attentive to detail. Services that support both repair quality and customer comfort help reinforce that confidence.
A business like this also plays an important role in helping people get back to normal after unexpected vehicle damage. Whether a customer is dealing with a minor cosmetic issue or a repair that affects drivability, the goal is the same: restore the vehicle efficiently and with as little disruption as possible. That requires not just tools and technical ability, but also patience, consistency, and a service mindset. Fred’s Auto Body Repair fits into that role as a neighborhood style automotive provider that aims to support customers through both maintenance and repair.
For drivers seeking a straightforward auto body shop with practical service options, Fred’s Auto Body Repair represents the kind of local business that combines repair capability with everyday convenience. Its mix of body work, mechanical support, and customer friendly amenities makes it a useful option for people who want their vehicle cared for by a shop that understands both the technical and personal sides of auto repair.

Long story short if you need body work or paint job go to Fred! Fred got a huge dent out my truck did some amazing body work got my Jeep looking like it left the dealership brand new again. Fred offered to borrow me a vehicle until my paint job was complete which only took the weekend. Fred dropped my truck off I didn’t have to even leave the house! Very impressive work ethics and very efficient with time very fast. Fred will be restoring and painting my old school someday!

This is one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a shop. He will say the car will be done by the end of the day and then when you call to check he makes excuses as to why he hasn’t accomplished a single thing. When you try to get information about pricing, timeframe, mechanical issue, he will refuse to answer. Save yourself the headache and go to a shop with professionalism. This is a terrible way to conduct business.

Fred’s has literally never let me down. Best pricing I’ve ever come across. Quality work. They always come thru and get the job done. I’ve brought every car I owned to them when I needed work done and have never been dissatisfied.

I used to go to Fred's about ten years ago.... My how the mighty have fallen..... I brought my charger in for a muffler / resonator delete and to have a set of flowmaster fx and tips installed..... They quoted $300 cash over the phone which seemed a little high (but everything is expensive now so I didn't haggle). I picked it up in the rain and noticed the exhaust tips weren't flush with the car as I had specified on the phone. I called to complain and "Fred" told me to come back another day and he would fix it. When I returned, the shop was closed... I thought maybe they were on lunch... Then I explained the problem to one of the yard guys, who looked under and said... The tips weren't flush because THE MUFFLERS WERE LEFT ON! Not only did I tell three people it was a muffler resonator delete.... I also offered a picture to the guy that installed it and he laughed and said... I got it, I don't need a picture...... Obviously he did. On top of that the yard guy that spoke to Fred said he needed to charge me "more money" Bottom line is if you need muffler work.. Go to John's on 23rd and Wells and don't mess with Freddy's muffler "clowns" 🤡 repair shop

Went to Fred's on Saturday at 2PM, needing a new starter. I had gotten a quote from Firestone and it was nearly $150 more than what Fred charged me. They had finished working on my car before 5PM, and I saved a lot of money! Very nice people--they even offered to give me a ride home. Will definitely be going back!
